April 2017- The 2017 Sister Support Alumnae Luncheon was held on April 21 at the University Club. Again, we enjoyed having everyone come out in support of our alumnae sisters. A total of 25 Links attended with 8 alumna sisters that were honored. It was a great afternoon of friendship and sharing kicked off by a slide show of our alumna sisters in action over the years provided by Link Dianne Pledger. Each alumna shared their professional, Links and friendship stories. Each alumna was presented with our Link’s flower, a white rose. They also received gifts of a green insulated cup and a journal. Special recognition was given to Link Betty Blackmon who each year so expertly guides us through the alumnae introductions, history and connections. Also recognized, Link Rosiland Wallace for being a great supporter of the alumnae by supporting five ladies this year and Link Carolyn Black for transitioning to alumna status. Thank you to all Links that attended, assisted with the planning and those that have supported their alumna Link sisters thru out the year. Link Tiffany Smith Bennett, Co-chair Sister Support.
